Touch is affirming of our individual value and is a most potent medium for determining our sense of self. Conscious touch communicates to the nervous system that we are safe and we belong to the tribe. The physical merits of bodywork have been scientifically proven, yet the spiritual and emotional components can be vastly more profound.
